Coming Soon: Agalloch - “The White EP”
Portland, OR’s Agalloch are set to release "The White EP" on February 29th through Vendlus Records, limited to 2000 copies. The band has stated that they "envision small releases as opportunities to experiment and try new things without the weighty demands of a full-length release," so the songs on the EP may be more experimental than what you can expect to hear on their next album. "The White EP" is the stylistic counterpart to 2004’s "The Grey EP," and features dark folk and ambient work written and recorded between 2004 - 2007.
Agalloch’s MySpace page has the sample track ‘Sowilo Rune’ up, so you can get a taste of what "The White EP" will sound like. The Vendlus Records store is currently accepting preorders for the new EP.
According to Grayceon’s MySpace page, Agalloch will be performing a couple shows in the Pacific Northwest in late March, with Grayceon supporting.
